Malaysia (wowsuperclub.com, 15 Aug 2006) – After Singapore and China, WOW!Tour™ embarked on another rousing voyage to Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur and the administration home Putrajaya. This tour is organised by wowsuperclub.com to let participants discover KL in a unique way.
“To most people, Kuala Lumpur is just a city of heavy traffic, exciting nightlife and busy shopping malls. In fact it hosts some of the most spectacular constructions in the world, which are highly advanced in technology yet uniquely rich in local traditions. That’s why we brought them here to appreciate the magnificence of these architectures.” Explained Ian Lai, organiser. During the 2D1N programme, participants were mesmerised by the impressive details of Menara Mesiniaga (IBM headquarter), Sepang International Circuit, KLIA, Bukit Jalil Sports Complex, National Theatre, National Art Gallery, Starhill Gallery, National Mosque, KLCC, and the astonishing Putrajaya.
“Impressive! I didn’t know there are so many interesting buildings in KL that portray true Malaysian identity. This is definitely a great help in my work.” An inspired Ms Low said proudly. The participants are university scholars from USM (University Sains Malaysia, Penang) who are in their first and second year of architecture majors. “Thanks to the organisers, I get to understand the concepts and learn the beauty of Malaysian architecture.”
Lively discussions were conducted after each day’s programme for participants to exchange views about the itinerary. Putrajaya was the favourite destination of most participants. Reason being that its comprehensive master plan and the craftsmanship of the massive constructions, were the creation of homegrown architects. 100% of the participants were enriched by the trip and eagerly enquired about future WOW!Tours™. wowsuperclub.com will strive to make the next journey – “New York, New York WOW with us” even more exciting for all!
